Senior One-Act Plays
A short but intense project of one-act plays written by celebrated local playwright Michael Wallace. Dana Crediford directs, assisted by Carly Williams.
They will lead BAAY students age 13 to 16 through the development of several award-winning and internationally produced pieces which explore topics faced by youth today, including peer pressure, bullying, sadness, and the desire to be understood and accepted.
The four-week rehearsal process will include theatre games as team-building exercises and in-depth acting training along with personal input from the playwright/dramaturg Michael Wallace.
The goal of this project is to broaden students’ knowledge of contemporary dramatic literature and to form a solid ensemble of young actors able to approach serious team stage projects with confidence!
