BAAY was selected as the beneficiary of a Marvel themed trivia fundraiser on May 7th! Thanks to the amazing Bellingham Real Estate Co. (BHAMRECO) and Live Bellingham Now for their organizing and hard work, the event went off without a hitch. Stemma Brewing graciously hosted and, with great food and awesome vendors, the night was made all the more special.
The evening featured friendly competition along with messages from event sponsors, raffle drawings, and a presentation from BAAY staff, sharing who we are and how the money raised would support children in our community.
At the end of the night, prizes were given out to Marvel trivia winners. BAAY’s staff came in last place but, in our defense, none of the trivia questions were about showtunes. Even so, we were gifted a super cute consolation prize donated by NEKO Cat Cafe.
In total, the event raised $5,418.41 for BAAY! We are so grateful to all who attended. A special thanks to the trivia night sponsors: Evergreen Home Loans – Bellingham, Foundation Restoration, Ground Up Home Inspection, NW Signs, and Zazen Spa & Fenex Coffee. What a truly incredible evening!
