About the BAAY Board
BAAY’s Board of Directors is a vibrant, committed group of volunteers who share a passion for BAAY’s mission to enrich the lives of children through the exploration of the arts. We believe that our entire community benefits when children have opportunities that expand their creative horizons and increase their capacity for joy. The board works behind the scenes with BAAY leadership to provide oversight, stability, and long-term planning, ensuring that BAAY has the infrastructure and resources it needs to fulfill its mission.
Do you care about fostering community, supporting third spaces for youth, and making new friends along the way? BAAY’s board might be a place for you! Board members attend monthly meetings, serve on at least one committee, and act as BAAY ambassadors by promoting awareness and support of the organization in our larger community. Each board member is asked to make a financial contribution at a level that is meaningful for them.
A Bright Future for BAAY
As BAAY enters its third decade, we are at an exciting inflection point. There are important decisions to make about the direction and scope of our future. The board is looking for new members with fresh energy and ideas to help shape BAAY’s next act.
