Description: Sharpen your acting chops in BAAY’s Actor’s Workshop. Learn the fundamentals of acting while going deeper with your skills in vulnerability and creative expression. Students will work on scenes with acting partners, as well as monologues. The class will culminate in a showing at the end of the session, which is perfect for those students wanting to enhance their acting skills or who can’t commit to a full play production process.
This class also includes lessons on immersive theatre performance, with optional opportunities to perform at BAAY’s annual Halloween fundraiser (the Haunted Fear Garden) at Boundary Bay Brewery.
Ages: 13-17
Dates: September 12 – November 21. Meets once per week on Tuesdays, 4:15-5:30 PM.
Note: There is no class on 10/31 (Halloween).
Format: In person at BAAY, following public health guidelines.
