Description: Narrators attempt to recreate all 209 of the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm in a wild, fast-paced extravaganza. To make it more difficult, they attempt to combine them into one gigantic fable featuring Rapunzel, Rumpelstiltskin, Hansel and Gretel, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and other more obscure stories. The Brother’s Grimm Spectaculathon is a wild, free-form comedy play with lots of madcap fun.
Grades: 9-12
This is a non-musical play production.
Weekly rehearsals: Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30 PM
Start date: August 31
– No rehearsal September 7
Bonus rehearsals: September 11 from 5:30-7:30 PM and September 12 from 12:00-3:00 PM
Tech rehearsals: October 19-22 from 5:30-8:30 PM
Performances: October 23, 24 at 7:00 PM & October 24, 25 at 2:00 PM
– Students are expected to be at ALL tech rehearsals and performances.
Note: All students will receive a part in the show, and no one is cut after auditions.
