Join the BAAY EduArts enrichment team! Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth (BAAY) is looking for instructors to teach Theatre, Dance, or Music classes for grades K-2 and 3-5. Classes are typically held after school from 2:30-3:30 PM M/T/W/F, and 12:45-2:00 PM on Thursdays in schools across Bellingham. Instructors can teach anywhere from one to five days per week, depending on availability.
Compensation: starts at $30 per hour (may increase depending on instructor experience and class enrollment)
Qualifications: Applicants should have at least one year of teaching experience with children ages 5-10. Experience should include teaching a subject related to the arts discipline they wish to teach for BAAY. If you don’t have the requested experience, we are also looking for volunteer Teacher Assistants which is a great way to gain the experience you need to become an instructor!
