Description: Join us on a post-apocalyptic dance journey where AI has taken over the world and changed things forever… How do we cope? What do we dream about? And how might we move through this strange new world? Students will tell these stories through abstract movement and Lisa’s unique blend of contemporary dance styles.
Note: We are offering two sections of this class to provide more options for students. There is no level difference between Company 1 and 2, and neither requires prior experience. Please choose the one that works best for your performer’s schedule!
Ages: 13-17
COMPANY 1 (Mon/Wed)
- Weekly rehearsals: Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 PM
- First rehearsal: May 5
- Tech week: June 9-12 from 5:00-8:00 PM
- Performances: June 13 & 14 at 7:00 PM and 14 & 15 at 2:00 PM
COMPANY 2 (Tues/Thurs)
- Weekly rehearsals: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 PM
- First rehearsal: May 6
- Tech week: June 9-12 from 5:00-8:00 PM
- Performances: June 13 & 14 at 7:00 PM and 14 & 15 at 2:00 PM
