Description: The conversation has started and the journey has begun! Come add onto a growing number of actors, writers, designers and musicians to create an original play to be produced on the BAAY campus upon reopening. Each week, creative prompts and performance exercises will have you collaborating with your team to create things never-before-seen on stage. Come be a part of the story!
Background note from launching in winter 2021: From the same place that brought you Creation Lab, comes another form of experimental and collaborative theatre-making – theatre devising at its finest! Company Z will be your chance to experiment and experience what it’s like to work with your peers on making a completely original performance piece.
Ages: 13 – 17, or 18 by permission
Dates: April 12 – June 7, 2021. Meets once per week on Mondays at 4:00-6:00pm. Note, no class on the 5/31 Memorial Day holiday.
Format: In person, following public health guidelines.
