Description: Students will explore theatrical comedy in the forms of improv, stand-up, and sketch comedy. Students will write their own sketches, tell the funniest jokes, and ‘yes-and’ their way into an incredible session! Through comedy, we’ll learn skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence. The class culminates on the last day of the session with a “Comedy Extravaganza Showcase!” for family and friends.
Ages: 9-12
Dates: February 6 – April 24. Meets weekly on Mondays, 4:15-5:30 PM.
Note: There is no class on 2/20 and 4/3.
Format: In person at BAAY, following public health guidelines.
