Description: Hoping to pull an epic prank to extend April Fool’s Day, or liven up your Zoom look? Heard the (true) story about a student who took this BAAY class last summer and then scared a doctor friend with the photo of their makeup “injury?” Learn the techniques to create a few special effects with makeup, like gashes, bruises, or aging, and other theatrical effects, which can cover a variety of departments.
For any theatre artist, ready to learn! Pairs well with Intro to Theatre Tech, which meets the day before, or if you’ve taken that before, sign up for Advanced Theatre Tech which meets on the next day.
Ages: 9 – 17
Dates: April 13 – June 1, 2021. Meets once per week on Tuesdays, 4:00-5:00pm.
Format: In person, following public health guidelines.
