Hoping to pull an epic April Fool’s Day prank this year? Looking to liven up your Zoom look? Heard the story about a student who took this BAAY class over summer and then scared a doctor friend with the photo of their makeup “injury?” Learn the techniques to create a few special effects with makeup, like gashes, bruises, or aging, and other theatrical effects, which can cover a variety of departments.
For any theatre artist, ready to learn! Pairs well with Theatre Tech, which runs during winter Session One, prior to this class.
Ages: 9 – 17
Dates: Class runs six weeks, Feb 26 – Apr 2. Meets once per week on Fridays, 5:00-6:00pm.
Format: Class meets live via Zoom, with occasional in-person meeting option if and as public health conditions allow, to be decided with families.
