Description: The Addams Family, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

Ages: 13-17
Auditions: September 16 from 12:00-2:00 PM and September 17 from 12:00-3:00 PM (at BAAY Theatre). Students should plan to be present for both days of auditions. All students will receive a part in the show, and no one is cut after auditions.
Dates: Meets twice per week, Mon/Wed, plus a Saturday rehearsal and tech week. Note locations and dates below; meets mainly at New Prospect Theatre (NPT). There are no rehearsals during winter break (12/18 – 1/1).
CAST 1
- Weekly rehearsals: Mon/Wed from 4:30-6:00 PM (at NPT) – last 30 minutes overlaps with cast 2
- First rehearsal: September 18 (at NPT)
- Saturday rehearsal: October 7 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (at BAAY)
- Tech week: January 22-25, Mon-Thurs daily from 5:00-9:00 PM (at NPT)
- Performances: January 26 and 27 at 7:00 PM, January 27 and 28 at 2:00 PM (at NPT)

- Tech week: January 29 – February 1, Mon-Thurs daily from 5:00-9:00 PM (at NPT)
- Performances: February 2 and 3 at 7:00 PM, February 3 and 4 at 2:00 PM (at NPT)
