Description: Explore improvisational comedy through a series of fast-paced games. Students will develop a toolkit to collaborate as a group and create hilarious theatre on the spot! Through improv, we’ll learn skills like communication, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence.
Improvisational theatre (aka. improv) is the form of comedy in which most or all of what is performed is unplanned or unscripted, created spontaneously by the players. This class will focus mainly on improv and not sketch comedy. If you are interested in sketch comedy, check out the Sketch Comedy camp for ages 13-17.
