Description: Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named… Shrek! One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he’s handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn’t be complete without a few twists and turns along the way.

Auditions: September 6 from 5:00-8:15 PM & September 7 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Registered families will receive an email with the assigned audition group times for their child. Students should plan to be present for both days of auditions. All students will receive a part in the show, and no one is cut after auditions.
CAST 1
- Weekly rehearsals: Monday/Wednesday from 5:00-6:30 PM
- First rehearsal: September 9
- Tech week: December 2-5 from 5:00-8:30 PM
- Performances: December 6, 7 at 7:00 PM and 7, 8 at 2:00 PM
- Note: No rehearsal 11/27.
CAST 2
- Weekly rehearsals: Monday/Wednesday from 6:45-8:15 PM
- First rehearsal: September 9
- Tech week: December 9-12 from 5:00-8:30 PM
- Performances: December 13, 14 at 7:00 PM and 14, 15 at 2:00 PM
- Note: No rehearsal 11/27, 12/2, and 12/4.
CAST 3
- Weekly rehearsals: Tuesday/Thursday from 6:45-8:15 PM
- First rehearsal: September 10
- Additional rehearsal: December 12 from 2:00-5:00 PM
- Tech week: December 16-19 from 5:00-8:30 PM
- Performances: December 20, 21 at 7:00 PM and 21, 22 at 2:00 PM
- Note: No rehearsal 10/24, 10/31, 11/28, 12/3, 12/5, and 12/10.
Families’ cast preferences will be honored wherever possible (e.g. cast 1, 2, or 3). You will receive a Google form via email before auditions to submit casting preferences. Please hold off on sending preferences until you receive that form.
