Description: Learn the fundamentals of songwriting – no experience necessary! Whether you’ve never written a song before and want to give it a try, or you’ve written lots of songs and want to improve your craft, this class is for you! We will investigate what makes our favorite songs work, learn about lyrics, melodies, and song structures, brainstorm ideas, spend time writing, and share what we come up with! This class is for anyone interested in exploring songwriting in a collaborative, supportive, low-pressure way.

This is part of Home BAAYse Camp for summer 2024. Families are welcome to register for multiple camps to create longer days at BAAY! Click here to view the visual schedule for session 1 and see what other camps pair well with this one. Students can remain at BAAY for breaks up to 30 minutes in between their camps. For longer breaks between camps, students will need to leave campus and return at the scheduled time because we cannot guarantee staff supervision.
