Description: Students will engage in various musical activities with a focus on developing contemporary fretboard instrumental skills. Students will learn ukulele pieces both with the purpose of accompanying vocal performers, as well as in a ukulele ensemble setting. Repertoire will include a wide range of genres and styles, with the ultimate goal of developing melodic, rhythmic, and aural skills.
Grades: 3-5
Where: Birchwood Elementary School
When: Wednesdays from 2:30-3:30pm, May 4th – June 15th (7 Classes total).
